Minho IG

Minho IG is a wine region of Portugal.

Growers build the wines around Alvarinho, filling out the blend with Loureiro, Trajadura, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.

Vines root into free-draining, granite and schist.

The climate is maritime/oceanic, running notable rainfall.

The vineyards themselves read as riverside, slopes and valley floor.

White wine, rosé wine and red wine, plus two more is what the region is known for, and in the glass it shows crisp, light and fruity, floral notes and lighter-bodied, plus three more.
