IGP Var

Wine from IGP Var comes out of France, where it sits as a wine region.

Growers build the wines around Grenache, filling out the blend with Cinsaut, Carignan, Vermentino and Viognier.

Vines root into limestone and quartz.

The climate is mediterranean.

The vineyards themselves read as coastal and mountains.

Red wine, white wine and rosé wine is what the region is known for, and in the glass it shows bright and fruity and citrus and stone fruits.
