Burgenland

Burgenland is a wine region in Austria.

Growers build the wines around Blaufränkisch, filling out the blend with Zweigelt, Chardonnay and Grüner Veltliner.

The climate is continental.

The vineyards themselves read as lakeside and riverside.

Red wine, white wine and sweet wine is what the region is known for, and in the glass it shows robust and spicy, primarily made from blaufränkisch, its deep flavors and complexity and crisp and aromatic, plus two more.
