Serious students use spaced repetition, and most of them use Anki. The problem is that the WSET decks floating around forums are usually somebody’s half-finished Level 2 set from four years ago, with three cards on Sherry and none on classification.
These are the same decks the site’s flashcard tools run on, exported on demand. Pick a level, choose Anki or CSV, and the file is built in your browser.
What is in each deck
Every card carries a front, a back, and a topic tag, so you can filter a session down to fortified wine or to German classification without splitting the deck. The tags match the categories used on the site, which means a deck imported today lines up with the cheatsheets and topic quizzes you are already using.
The sommelier decks are separate from the WSET ones because the two certifications ask for different things. WSET wants understanding you can write about; the Court wants recall you can produce in three seconds on a restaurant floor. Cards written for one make poor practice for the other.
A word on how to use them
Flashcards are for facts that must arrive instantly: appellation rules, aging minimums, grape lists, milling ratios. They are poor at teaching reasoning, which is most of what Level 3 and the Diploma examine. Use the decks for recall, use the mock exams for application, and do not confuse a full review queue with being ready.

Common questions
Download the Anki text file, then in Anki choose File and then Import. The file is tab separated with three fields in this order: front, back, and tag. Map them to Front, Back, and Tags in the import dialog, pick or create a deck, and import. Line breaks inside a card are encoded as HTML breaks so no card splits across two rows.
The same cards with a header row of Front, Back, Tag, comma separated and quoted. Use it if you study in a spreadsheet, in Quizlet, in Notion, or in any tool that eats CSV. The content is identical to the Anki file, only the delimiters differ.
Exactly the same, generated from the same data at page load. If a card is corrected on the site, the next export you download carries the correction. There is no separate, quietly outdated download sitting on a server somewhere.
No. The file is assembled in your browser from data already on the page, and the download never touches our servers. That is also why there is no email gate on it.
Anki is excellent and free, and if you already live in it, take the export.
