Voskehat is a white grape variety, with its roots in Armenia.
The wines show medium-full body, no tannin, medium acidity, dry and medium alcohol.
The tasting note runs to stone fruits, tropical fruits, lemon verbena, jasmine, citrus blossom and white flowers.
It is planted most seriously in Vayots Dzor and Aragatsotn.
In the vineyard it is marked by early ripening, hardy vigour and a preference for hot summers, cold nights.
On other labels it goes by Golden Seed.
At the table it suits dolma, pickled vegetables and harissa-based dishes.
