Vitovska is a white grape variety, with its roots in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy.

The wines show medium-full body, no tannin, medium-high acidity, dry and medium alcohol.

The tasting note runs to pear, prune, stonefruit, citrus, apple and cherry.

It is planted most seriously in Carso and Kras.

In the vineyard it is marked by mid ripening, medium vigour and a preference for resistant to drought and cold winds.

It blends readily with Malvasia and Sauvignon Blanc.
