The wines show medium body, no tannin, medium-high acidity, dry and medium alcohol.
The tasting note runs to herbaceous, nutty, honey, citrus, stone fruit and floral.
In the cellar it meets unoaked.
It is planted most seriously in Rueda.
In the vineyard it is marked by early ripening, high vigour and a preference for moderately continental.
It blends readily with Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Viognier.

At the table it suits stuffed piquillo peppers, prawn noodle soup and pan-fried snapper with asparagus spears.
