Tsitska is a white grape variety, with its roots in Imereti, Georgia.
The wines show medium body, no tannin, high acidity, dry and medium alcohol.
The tasting note runs to honey, linden, citrus, floral and herbal.
It is planted most seriously in Imereti.
In the vineyard it is marked by late ripening, low vigour and a preference for temperate.
On other labels it goes by Chianti Bianco, Scanti and Shanti.
At the table it suits goats cheese on fruit toast, stir-fried vegetables with honey soy and ceviche.
