Tinta Roriz (Aragonez) - Touriga is a red blend rather than a single variety, with its roots in Douro, Dão, Portugal.

The wines show medium body, medium-high tannin, medium acidity, dry and medium alcohol.

The tasting note runs to dark fruit, plum, cherry, spice, floral and herbal.

It is planted most seriously in Douro, Dão and Alentejo.

In the vineyard it is marked by mid ripening, medium vigour and a preference for moderate.

It blends readily with Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca.
