Sauvignon Blanc - Vermentino is a white blend rather than a single variety, with its roots in Southern France, France.

The wines show light-medium body, no tannin, high acidity, dry and medium alcohol.

The tasting note runs to citrus, tropical fruit, floral, herbaceous, grass and green bell pepper.

It is planted most seriously in IGP Pays d’Oc, Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence and Toscana IGT.

In the vineyard it is marked by mid ripening, medium vigour and a preference for warm, coastal.

On other labels it goes by Rolle.

At the table it suits crab bisque, prawns with lime and cilantro and takoyaki.
