The wines show medium body, no tannin, high acidity, dry and medium alcohol.
The tasting note runs to citrus, floral, mineral and spicy.

It is planted most seriously in Provence and Toscana IGT.
In the vineyard it is marked by early ripening, moderate vigour and a preference for warm.
It blends readily with Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Semillon.
