Posip is a white grape variety, with its roots in Dalmatian coast, Croatia.
The wines show light body, no tannin, medium-high acidity, dry and medium alcohol.
The tasting note runs to citrus, herbs, floral and spice.
It is planted most seriously in Korcula and Hvar.
In the vineyard it is marked by early ripening, good vigour and a preference for warm.
It blends readily with Grk and Bogdanusa.

At the table it suits grilled sardines with lemon and chilli, seafood broth with octopus and green herb salad with pistachios.
