The wines show medium body, no tannin, medium acidity, off-dry and medium alcohol.

The tasting note runs to elderflower, herbaceous notes, muscat-like qualities, floral and herbaceous.

It is planted most seriously in Rheinhessen, Nahe, Pfalz and England.
