Nosiola is a white grape variety, with its roots in Trentino, Italy.
The wines show medium body, no tannin, medium-high acidity, dry and medium alcohol.
The tasting note runs to hazelnut, citrus, tropical fruit, floral and nutty.
In the cellar it meets unoaked.
It is planted most seriously in Trentino.
In the vineyard it is marked by mid ripening, high vigour and a preference for prefer ventilated hillsides.
It blends readily with Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Bianco and Chardonnay.

At the table it suits steamed trout (dry), apple risotto with walnuts and blue cheese (dry) and pecan pie (sweet).
