The wines show medium body, low tannin, low acidity, dry and medium alcohol.
The tasting note runs to red berries, herbs and earth.
It is planted most seriously in Monica di Sardegna and Monica di Cagliari.
In the vineyard it is marked by early ripening.

At the table it suits spit-roasted suckling pig, meatballs in tomato sauce and chili con carne.
