The wines show light body, no tannin, medium-high acidity, dry and medium alcohol.
The tasting note runs to peach, apricot, almond, herbaceous and maquis.
In the cellar it meets unoaked.
It is planted most seriously in Ischia.
In the vineyard it is marked by early ripening, vigorous vigour and a preference for temperate.
It blends readily with Biancolella.
