The wines show medium body, no tannin, medium acidity, dry and medium alcohol.
The tasting note runs to tropical fruits, floral notes, floral and grapey.
It is planted most seriously in Jumilla and Piedmont.
In the vineyard it is marked by early ripening, medium vigour and a preference for warm.
It blends readily with Muscat.
