The wines show medium body, no tannin, high acidity, dry and medium alcohol.
The tasting note runs to citrus, tropical fruits, floral, spice, white pepper and fennel.
It is planted most seriously in Jurancon.
In the vineyard it is marked by late ripening and low vigour.
It blends readily with Petit Manseng, Gros Manseng and Petit Courbu.
