The tasting note runs to pineapple, citrus peel, honeysuckle, floral and muscat-like aroma.
It is planted most seriously in Finger Lakes, Outer Coastal Plain and Lake Erie.
In the vineyard it is marked by early ripening, large vigour and a preference for cold-resistant.
