The wines show light body, no tannin, high acidity, dry and medium alcohol.
The tasting note runs to citrus, stone fruit, herbal, grass and bay leaf.
It is planted most seriously in Minho and Galicia.
In the vineyard it is marked by early ripening, medium vigour and a preference for moderate.
It blends readily with Trajadura.
