The wines show full body, no tannin, medium-high acidity, dry and medium alcohol.

The tasting note runs to floral, nutty, hazelnut, almond and bergamot.

It is planted most seriously in Savoie.

In the vineyard it is marked by late ripening, low vigour and a preference for mountainous.
