Albillo is a white grape variety, with its roots in Galicia, Spain.

The wines show medium body, low tannin, medium acidity, dry and medium alcohol.

The tasting note runs to tropical fruits, lemon, wax, light floral and citrus.

It is planted most seriously in Ribera del Duero and Manchuela.

In the vineyard it is marked by mid ripening, medium vigour and a preference for temperate.

It blends readily with Viura, Verdejo, Albariño and Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains.

On other labels it goes by Pardina, Abilla, Blanca del Pais and Albillo de Toro.
