Data portability in Sommo is deliberately free. Every export scope (all of it, or just the journal, cellar, scans, or tastings) downloads as CSV or Excel with nothing held back. If you ever leave, you leave with everything. That guarantee is the point: an app you can always walk out of is an app you can trust with twenty years of tasting notes.
The Premium Half: The Book
The cellar book takes the same data and typesets it:
- A cover with your name. Cream paper, the Sommo nameplate, your name and the date. A snapshot of the collection on the day you printed it.
- The cellar, rack by rack. Bottles grouped the way you organised them, with producer, vintage, and origin on every line, and unplaced bottles gathered at the end.
- The journal, note by note. Your entries with their ratings and structured tasting notes, appearance to conclusions, set like a book rather than dumped like a log.

The book renders in Latin-script languages today. For Chinese and Turkish, the labels fall back to English in this first version, an honest limitation of the print fonts rather than of your data, which always exports completely in CSV and Excel.
