How Sommo makes money
Sommo is a free wine app. My only revenue is Premium subscriptions on the App Store.
Approved creators can join the partner program to refer new subscribers. When someone signs up through a partner’s promo code, the partner earns a commission on that subscription. It is the same revenue stream, not a separate one.
I do not earn commissions from wine shops, subscription boxes, fridges, or any third-party products. Links on this site are editorial recommendations, not affiliate placements.
Editorial independence
Reviews and guides on this site are written by me, based on my own testing and research. I have no paid product-placement deals with wine retailers or brands. If I ever publish sponsored content, I will say so plainly at the top of the article.

Partners and creators who promote Sommo
Sommo runs a partner program. Creators I approve receive a unique promo code that earns them 30% recurring commission when a referred customer subscribes to Sommo Premium. Partners promoting Sommo on their own channels (blog, social, podcast, newsletter, video) are expected to follow the FTC’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising, the UK’s CAP Code and ASA guidance, and any equivalent local rules, and to clearly disclose their material connection to Sommo whenever they recommend the app.
Sommo does not direct editorial opinions of partners and does not require partners to leave negative reviews of competing apps.
Advertising and tracking
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic. Sommo does not run third-party ad networks. See the privacy policy for details on what data is collected and how long it is retained.
